At The Garden our primary focus is on creatives and their creative projects. We host original curated art events, exhibitions, classes and other experiences to enhance the creative arts in the 05. We have a LOT going on around here. Get plugged in! We’d LOVE to have you around!
Public Events
Summer Events:
Night Markets are on the 3rd Wednesdays of summer months (May through September) and feature an art show opening in The Gallery, live music & drinks on The Veranda and food trucks & artisan vendors on The Terrace. Small, family-friendly pets are allowed at the Night Market. Thank you for your cooperation! If you bring an aggressive or a large animal, you will be asked to remove it from our property immediately. We often have service dogs present at The Garden so absolutely no other dogs with even remotely aggressive behavior will be tolerated for the safety of all parties.
Live music concerts:
We love hosting GREAT live music events featuring musicians from Fort Wayne as well as around the world. For musicians we offer opportunities ranging from performing at a Night Market to renting out our venue for a ticketed concert.

At our Art Shows, we are committed to showing art that has not yet appeared in any other Fort Wayne Art Show or Gallery because we want to give new art (and new artists) a platform and a space to enter the creative market - as well as to give attendees a new visual experience. Urban Garden
On the South side of our building, we prep, plant, maintain and harvest a “walk-around-food” urban garden. This garden exists to provide a healthy, free and easy food option for local homeless. Those in need are invited to come pick veggies which are ready to harvest. Intentionally, none of the grown veggies require any prep in order to be eaten. Volunteers harvest every Friday and deliver it to Just Neighbors to aid families in crisis. Learn more about them at their web site. To get involved and volunteer, contact us.
On-going Community for Local Creatives
If you are a creative in Fort Wayne (especially in the ‘05), we would love to hear from you. One of our goals with The Garden is to showcase original art from local creatives. Whether your passion is music, sculpture, painting, photography, fashion, kinetic art, films, dance, drama, or something else, we have a strong variety of events and platforms in which to connect with you. The Garden hosts a variety of art opportunities, small-scale ticketed workshops, art competitions and other art experiences. To propose an original art show, rent our space or have your work featured in our space or at one of our events, please contact us so we can chat.
