We know there are LOTS of details to absorb and manage when it comes to setting up a private event. So, we have gathered the most commonly asked questions and answers together for you.

PRICING

Due to the nature of the event world and product prices, prices shared are subject to change without notice and the only prices guaranteed not to change are the ones currently booked and under contract. Please submit a rental submit a Rental Inquiry Form so that we can answer questions specific to your private event type, date and time.

Etc.

The Garden exists primarily to cultivate community through the creative arts. So, in order to protect and preserve all original artwork on display and our property, we do NOT rent out The Garden for Weddings, Wedding receptions, 21st birthday parties with alcohol service or Children’s birthday parties for 14 years old or younger. The Garden property is owned by Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School. Absolutely NO weapons, NO vaping and NO smoking are allowed on the property.

INVESTMENT

Our rental fees include the following:

  • $250 booking fee due immediately at the time of booking to reserve the date.

  • Hourly rental fee with a minimum of 2 hours. The hourly rental fee is due in full by 30 days prior to the event. Contact us for pricing for your specific event date and time.

SETUP + TEARDOWN

Renters receive one hour immediately prior to their event to set up and one hour immediately following their event to teardown (yes, this time is complimentary). Additional setup and/or teardown time can be purchased.

FOOD

You may hire a licensed caterer of your choice or bring in store-bought items.

ALCOHOL

If you wish to have any alcohol whatsoever at our venue for your private event, you must contact Licensed Bar Services or Old Crown for a quote. They handle all licensing, insurance, permits, security, etc. NO, you may not bring in your own alcohol to consume or serve.

FURNITURE

The Garden has existing tables and seating which may be used for your private event (or you can hire a rental company such as A Party Apart).
